Overnight oats aren’t only a satisfying breakfast option perfect for busy mornings, they’re also a surprising way to get more protein in! Each serving of this sweetly spiced recipe contains 20 grams.

Tbsp. almond butter

Tbsp. maple syrup

cup to 1 cup milk or soy milk (use less for a thicker consistency)

tsp. vanilla extract

tsp. cinnamon

tsp. ground cardamom
Pinch of ground cloves
Pinch of allspice
Pinch of ginger
Pinch of black pepper

cup rolled oats

Tbsp. chia seeds

cup frozen blueberries
Preparation
Step 1
In a pint jar, stir almond butter and maple syrup together, as they’re easier to mix this way.
Step 2
Then, add milk, vanilla, and spices, and mix again. Add rolled oats, chia seeds, and blueberries, mix once more, and fasten the jar with a lid.
Step 3
Place the jar in the fridge for at least four hours or up to three to four days.
